Well the street helmet that is. I hate to say it, but sportbikes and I are slowly going our separate ways. Blasphamy, yes I know. :) I'm really digging being back on the dirt though. Any free time I have these days is dedicated to the trails. I'm putting in my notice of resignation from SBW. I've enjoyed the time I've had here. You guys and gals are a great group of people. The information I've learned here has helped me improve my street skills vastly. I will pop in once in a while to update you on my current injuries and trail stories. For those of you that I'm in touch with outside of SBW I'll still be in touch, when I'm around. :) For the rest of you who would like to keep tabs on me, just shoot me an email... [email protected]. For the ones who won't miss me...:twofinger Your loss. Hehehe. Ok guys and gals I'm out of here. It's been real, it's been fun... ;) :) Austa la pasta!

Do it in the dirt!

I know how you feel. I am selling my Yamaha this week and have seriously thought about selling my Katana as well to buy another dirt bike. My time with my kids is extreemly important to me and currently, I am without my own dirt bike to go riding with the kids on the weekends. I have decided not to sell the Kat though because I love street riding too much to quit, so as soon as the Yammy is sold, I will have a new Yammy WR250 to play with! I can't wait to go racing again!

I personally couldn't hang up the street lid, but could hang a dirt lid next to it (them).

I was contemplating getting a dirt bike so I can do some trails this year. I almost did it too... but then I spoke to lots of trail riders and the most common word of advice is, "don't do it alone", and I can totally see why.

I thought I'd get some of my ex-dirt buds out, but no one 1) wanted to steer away from street/track right now, 2) being in California, no one has the money to pop for a dirt bike.

So, I either go it alone, or no go. I don't think it was a smart decision for me to go it alone, so getting dirty and injured is gonna have to wait.

Well...as long as you visit sometimes. Just because you are a dirt only kind of chick doesn't mean you can't hang out here when you're in front of a computer :D
