Why the change of heart?

Congrats.

WTF happened to the Sterling you were after? Well, I guess it would be a bitch to strap your snowboard to that thing though. Lucky bastard, livin' in Colorado.

Pfinders are really nice trucks! I wouldn't go offroad with it though, Not that it's not a surefooted cage.. But it's an '88 and cracked axles, broken transfer cases .. are expensive to replace...

its a super clean 88 pathfinder xe, 5spd, 6cyl, 4x4 (ye-haw) from new mexico.. no rust.. except for the exhaust which is always rusted on older pathfinders (the dealer replace most of it though.. just left the cat & pipes). 137k miles. i paid a couple grand more than i should have but i have super sh!t credit & i got 0% financing so it worked out good. i can carry all my dj stuff & fold the back seat down so i can camp in the back when i go snowboarding & its got a snow board rack &.. well its perty darn cool... im gonna get a lifted suspension, all the cool gaurds, etc... & yes it will see lots of off road action.

on the sterling..

it got cold here for a few days.. had to bum rides. then i blew my bike tire.. had to bum rides. i need to carry my dj equipment. & the only sterlings i have found were out of my price range for a few months or totall crap.. so i folded & went regular car shopping. i test drove a firebird.. i loved it but i still have to carry dj stuff.. i test drove an awd/trubo eclipse.. i loved it but i still have to carry dj stuff... plus i didnt want to finance. so i test drove a 4-runner & kinda like it.. so i decided to get an older suv. i plan on a sterling but it will be next year.. after a race bike.. i would also like to build it my self.. so by the time i actually have a sterling on the road i may be 50... we'll see though. i could just sell this truck to my brother to get the sterling in the spring.

It's funny that you and Speed mentioned this, because I owe a friend of mine payback on a prank that he pulled on me a while back, and that is *exactly* what I had been planning to do. My problem is that I don't know where to find one of those stickers. Any suggestions?

That golfer in Sports Illustrated this week (the one with a Yamaha R1: "fastest bike on the road") also has a "Kawasaki Ninja with a custom rainbow paintjob". Hmmmmmmmm.... :D

I had a '91 Nissan 4x4 pickup for 7 years. Those things are SOLID. I imagine the '88 Pathfinder is comparable. Only problem I ever had with it was a bent tie rod. Still not sure how that happened... Kinda like those mysteriously leaking fork seals on my RR... :D :p

As far as the connection between toolboxes
and rainbows...

Get yourself a good box and you'll have plenty
of rainbows.

Did I just say that outloud??

Careful Chris, or you'll have to change your signature to "clean my chin".

(Sorry, couldn't resist! :D :p)
