I guess its an appropriate time to let everyone know that my wife is entering her second trimester now. Everyone cross your fingers for a Girl for me! Please!

Firstly, because I have a couple neices that are my favorite little people in the world. Girls are loving and fun too. Ya know "Daddys little girl" kinda thing.
With a boy, I would have zero tolerance and Im affraid that I would be to hard on him. Boys can be real handfulls.... Girls you just get the worst of it when they reach puberty
And Best of luck to you Kyle, although i do think your next 18 years would be easier with a son -vs- a daughter.
I just think pubescent girls are pretty much accidents waiting to happen. Well i guess the boys are too, but their accidents are innocent uncalculated ones, whereas the girls are calculated, deceptive, cunning, sly, crafty, subversive and other things parents have no indication of. Then again, you could get lucky and get an angel.
Heres hoping, that whatever you get, he or she is a real treasure.
Thanks guys, The anticipation is killing me! I was really unsure if I even wanted to be a father or not, but now that he/she is on the way, I cant wait!
I do agree with you Greenninja, Girls can break a fathers hear (among others) as much as they melt them...
Oh well, as long as the baby has all 6 fingers and toes, I'll be happy.

Duh! When they're off at college and bring home their friends for the holidays. You know, the ones who like "older" men!

I wouldn't be so paranoid if you all weren't out to get me.
