I am getting NO help from my dealer - can anyone tell me the proprer oil level and weight in the front forks for a 99 CBR F4? Does anyone out there have the shop manual? Thanks in advance.

fork fluid: pro-honda suspension fluid SS-8

forkfluid capacity: 475+-2.5 cm (16.1+- 0.08 US oz. 16.7 +-0.09oz)
pump the damper rod several times until the fork fluid flows out of the oil hole in the rebound damping adjuster.
slowly pump the fork tube several times to remove trapped air.
compress the fork fully.
measure the oil level from the top of the fork tube.
OIL LEVEL:118 mm (4.6 in)
( that right out of the sevice manual, hope that helps )

You probably already know this, but for anyone who doesn't, measure the level with the fork tube level, fully compressed, and without the springs inside.
