FASTER THAN A SPEEDING TICKET!!!
Thanks for the tip on the story hy_syde. It's about time some positive articles get put out by the press. I wrote a pretty lengthy "Thank You" to Elizabeth too.
I just wrote her a thank you e-mail as well. This is the kind of press that we need and deserve. Maybe she'll be a starting point for others to give us a chance rather than always writing about the negatives.
BTW: anyone know the area code for Raleigh, NC? I'd like to give her a call and thank her personally, but she didn't list her area code there...

Woah buddy......calm down there. She might start to think we're stalkin' her.
Liked the story and all, but I was a bit dismayed by the piccy of someone on a bike with no leathers or anything. Okay, they had a helmet on (I think), but still a short sleeved shirt is nothing to riding in!
Nice to get some good press though.
Cheers for the link!

the views and opinions expressed by tony (cbrf2boy) are the ramblings of a total idiot. sbw.com, it's administrators, moderators, and members don't necessarily agree with and are not responsible for anything this idiot has to say.
I gave up stalking. Plus my psychiatrist says I should not think about my jaded past, so don't remind me, ALRIGHT!?! Anyway, it was getting too hard to watch people without their knowing because my Yosh pipe was so loud. Oh well, maybe a life as an assassin would be exciting!
Seriously though, I just think that press like this is so badly needed that we ought to do everything possible to let her know what she did is appreciated, and needed!

Good press like this is needed. I also sent her an e-mail saying I enjoyed the story and thanked her for writing the truth about sportbike riders. Hopefully there will be more stories like this in the future.

Yes, definitely a good article. I am kind of wondering why she chose to specify that they were mostly black riders. What difference does it make what the color of their skin is?
The author lost her credibility with me when she stated that the riders "flipped their lights on". Come on, how many of those bike had manually operated light switches?!

i think she was just making one of those observation type statements. y'knoe, like say "the gang of harley riders were mostly white males, who during working hours were lawyers, accountants, dentists..."
hehehehe....

she probably meant when they turned their bikes on, the lights came on.
being that she probably doesn't ride a bike, she doesn't knoe they don't have a light switch like a car..
i am i done yet???
