In order:
1. LotR trilogy
2. Star Wars episodes IV-VI
3. Monte Python's Holy Grail
- "You're arm's off!"
- "No it isn't.".... "It's just a flesh wound!"
4. Kill Bill (pair)
5. Office Space

As I look upon them, I think, "What a geek!"

Haven't seen Clockwork Orange yet, but I'm sure we will soon. Just saw Resevoir Dogs and thought it was pretty good. I think I could pick out a Tarrantino film pretty easily, now.

It's not hard to do considering that he's contrived and takes all his ideas from old Kung Fu and gangster movies. I can't wait for the guy to have an original idea.

Vampires, gangsters, and martial arts... he has a way of finding the absolute worst in humanity and making it interesting to watch.

(Yes, I like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, but I don't credit the guy as the "genius" filmmaker everybody seems to think he is...he's just good at repackaging other people's work and there's obviously a good market for that.)

Interesting point slaintedan, but isn't that the case in much of industry? I mean, much of invention is really finding a "new" application for an old idea. That's really what his films are, application of kung foo-style flicks to (his perception of) today's world, don't you think?

Heck, even the mighty Microsoft has few if any real innovations. Of course, I'm a big fan of neither, but do use their products because they're in a niche of their own that fulfill some interest. :2cents:

As for worst in humanity, you're probably right. It seems there's a strong, public interest in that right now. I'd call it a rise in sensationalism.
