I was not sure whether to post this under the gear section or new rider but decided it should be ok here because it's not gear specific and I'm new in dealing with this.

I'm probably going to buy my 2005 F4i 600 Honda tomorrow (looking at around $8100 out the door). I'd like to get my gear from the dealer also for convenience while I'm there. They will discount their equipment with the purchase of a bike. What % discount on equipement would make it comparable to getting through mail order. I was thinking about 15% considering convenience of knowing it all looks and fits right. Is that a fair amount to ask for with a bike purchase? I don't mind giving the dealer a little profit but I'm not Santa Clause.

I'm looking at getting either a Shoei or Arai helmet, a good quality two piece leather riding suit, boots and gloves.

Thanks.

Dealer I bought my latest bike from gives a one time 20% discount card to you on delivery. Thats just about what you can save on some stuff using mail order.
