TWO WHEELS._ 200 MPH._

SCREENS IN LONG BEACH

AT CYCLE WORLD INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW

"Finally a movie about motorcycling that isn't
Hollywood crap-u-drama...This is the real deal... We're professionals, don't try this at home."

"'Faster' takes the genre in an extreme level...
a rare view of past heroes and current contenders in an 'unplugged' format with a backdrop of incredible action."
--Robert Redmond, Track Junkie

WHAT:_ The speed, the egos, the broken bones and the babes._ But most of all, the guts, the skill and the touch of madness it takes to ride machines the experts call "evil."_Faster is a must-see for motorcycle fans, and an eye-opening, action-packed experience for the curious novice._

Over the past two years, there has been a massive surge of interest in grand prix motorcycle racing: the new-generation MotoGP bikes have shattered the 200mph barrier, the top riders have become international superstars with multi-million dollar contracts, and the sport's popularity is booming in the US: four of the twenty-four riders in the MotoGP world championship are American, and last year's AMA Superbike race in Laguna Seca attracted well over 100,000 people.

Faster is the most true-to-life look at motorcycle racing ever brought to screen, and an incisive look at what makes a champion._ Narrated by Ewan McGregor ("Star Wars," episodes I, II, III, "Black Hawk Down"), the film follows the 2001-2002 seasons of the MotoGP world championships._Crossing five continents, it features today's top riders, including Valentino Rossi, called "the most sought after racer in the world," and his archrival Maxi Biaggi; the brilliant but injury-prone Garry McCoy; and rising teen star John Hopkins._
Faster also features a raft of former champs who have shaped the way racing is done today, along with the doctor who patches the riders together and puts them back on the track, and the experts in the bleachers who write the history of the sport.

Faster is produced by Spark Productions in association with Dorna Sports SL,
and is directed by Mark Neale._ Music by tomandandy and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

WHEN:_ Faster is screening in Long Beach as part of a national tour on Friday, December 12th at 9:15 pm and Sunday , December 14th at 5:15pm._

WHERE:_ In association with the 23rd Annual Cycle World International Motorcycle Show, presented by Toyota Trucks._ Long
Beach Convention Center, Grand
Ballroom, 300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA_ 90802.
(Note: You do not have to attend the motorcycle show to see the film).

HOW:_ Screenings are open to the public._ $15 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under._ Advance tickets through the Long Beach Convention Center Box Office (Mon-Fri 10 a.m.-6p.m., Sat 10-4. Extended hours during show days), or call_562-436-3636.__ Tickets also available at screenings._

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the

Looks awsome. Too bad it probably will never show up in my neck of the woods.

And robert pre-approves all my posts too. He's a very generous man.

Yup, I've been planning on seeing it in New york for some time now. I've got the trailer on my computer here and it looks pretty tasteful.

It is a documentary...about MotoGP racing...I'd say if your not a Race fan, ya prolly won't think that it's that good...lots of behind the sences stuff..and some good action, But, I think for it to be a sucessin theaters, it could have had a wee bit more action/racing..in it...

I thought the DVD was suppose to be in the USA in March..?
