well, if u have read my "what is that noise" thread then u already know that i havent been doing my pre-ride checks.. just a reminder to everyone else not to be dumb & check your bike every morning b4 u get on.. inspect the chain.. the brakes.. oil leaks.. tire damage.. it only takes a minute & can prevent unecassary wear & danger. although i adjusted my chain 2wks ago i havent looked at it since.. it is so loose that the side to side play hits the cover on the front sprocket causing me to freak out.

Not dumb but a good reminder. Easy to just hop on and take off without doing a quick check that could catch a potential problem.

Thanks for the info. I have gotten pretty lazy about giving my bike a once over before getting on. :)
