Looks like I'm the first to post about our trip, the others must still be in shock...
Had a great time in the smokies last wed. thru sun., rode a total of 2000 miles! Stacia and T.J. did a great job of organizing and hosting the trip. WARNING: Do not speed in Tennessee- 85 in a 70 zone cost me $147.50! The weather was perfect, not a drop of rain, mostly cool. 748 Abuser (Paul)'s bike isn't really pink, it's more of a soft purple with chrome stripes, kind of hard to describe. Everyone in the group rode waayyy faster than my comfort zone, except RC John- he was gawdawful slow. But hey, for a guy with one arm he kept up pretty well!
More sortid details later...

Tristan wasn't even there. The aliens abducted him for experiments. I don't know who that guy with the pig was. :p :D

A report has been posted in the Moderator forum. But for Squidwannabe and everyone else, it was a great time and I wish you all could have been there. Stacia and TJ do deserve a big thanks for the hard work. I'm sure TJ didn't have much to do with it. We had a great time with only minor problems. RadianRider(Amy) and her Mark(LOL) were great tour leaders/followers. Mark had more equipment(on the Concours) than the Harley team has tools. I was absolutely amazed at how fast he was on that big bike. Of course I almost stalled the RC-51 when I got stuck behind Tristan(?) on the VTR. He was so slow that I only needed one arm. I balanced the checkbook with the other. The "girls" were all quite fast in the mountains. Connie, Laura, Stacia, Amy and Nancy(owner of the rental house) were all right in the pack and most took turns leading too. We couldn't keep control of the Tristan imposter. He would just take off and we wouldn't see him for hours.

The group wore me out(riding bikes that is) with the long trips. Did I mention that the RC is no touring bike and I have have an ass as wide as a Hayabusa? I got so tired I started hallucinating on the trip back to the house Sat. evening. I looked over to the right and thought a road construction barrel was chasing me... I realized it was 748_abuser on the Ducati. It was scary. When you see an orange and white thing like that on the road you don't want to get too close to it nor go over 45mph in the area. That is how he outruns other bikes... camouflage and desception! :p :D

There will be pictures soon. Look out Tristan or who ever you were... the pictures are back from the Drug Store. :p Livestock beware. :D :D

A couple of serious notes:

It was a great time with an absolutely awesome group of people. I think we really have something great here at SBW. I have some great new friends who really enjoy fast but responsible riding. I hope more can join us next year.

To all, if you ever have a chance to ride with Amy's significant other, Mark, you better take it. The guy should lead these things professionally. He's the kind of rider that makes you feel safer just because he is with your group. He has ridden everywhere and remembers everything. :)

I believe 748_abuser came up with it once and it just kind of stuck. :) Didn't it come from the WWF Wrestling crap? ;)

What's Jabroni mean?

That group shot came out just right- fuzzy enough to protect the identities of the innocent (and guilty).

You know, I wanted to ask y'all to identify yourselves in that picture, but I figured John would just lie, saying that the skinniest one was him.

Good pictures Don, when I get my pictures developed I will post some of them. I need to get one of those digital cameras like you have.

I still have to get my 35mm film developed. Hopefully, I will have some good shots in there too. Did you get your chain looked at?
