His idea. I would have done some wicked face on the back. Those vents would have set off a great face.

But, you have got to please the customer!

I can't wait to get it clearcoated.

I'll post pics of it cleared. Should be done in a couple of days.

Hey Maddjack, where did you get such a great pic of Mladin at the track? Did you take that? If so, how did you get him to stop for you? Come on, spill the beans..............

Yes I took it,that was at Mid-ohio in lexington Oh,,I have a bunch of photos in paddocks all over the AMA series. Some good victory circle ones also.from going to the races so much I am kind of recognized by the racers and teams from seeing me around so much, they all know I'll stay out of the way and I won't pester them for photos. In that photo Matt had just come off a very good qualifying run and as he pulled up i just held up the camera,he nodded and I got a great shot,he knew I'd be clear of his stop spot.I have ones from the old battle of the legends series that BMW sponsered for a few years that are real good. They had a offical Photographer doing shots early one day and I wandered down into a part of the paddock that was hot pass only and got better shots than he did.those guys had some fun ,clowning ect and I got shots of racers that some folks have only read about.:thumb:
A lot of mine prior to this year are on film,i used a good 35mm so some of the action shots are hot,I need though to get a scanner to post em.
if you want I'll put some of the digitals ,I don't want to bore people with my amateur photography. Some of the shots are good ,a lot suck.IMHO
My hope is in 2005 a gp comes to America so i can go and shoot some photos of those folks,it will be a challange as I am NOT known by them, so I'll have to really work for my shots. And i never been to Barber Motorsports complex yet.You gotta learn the track and paddock to get the best shots.

Well aren't we the little devil with the goods? Good for you!
Do you have any good shots of Nicky Hayden? I'm planning to do him as my next painting. I've found some okay ones, but nothing really thrilling yet.

And if not, then that's cool.

I keep sending photos of my work to Gregg White at the Speed Channel. I don't know if he ever really looks at his own mail, but you never know. When I see him at Infineon, I'm gonna bug him about them.

:D :D :D :D

Sounds right. He was really nice to my son, Alexander, when we met him at a meet and greet function here at NorthBay Honda. So, Alex has been cheering for him ever since. He keeps telling Dad, "no more paintings for you!" "I get the next one!"
