I finally did it. I went down this month and bought a brand new YZF600R. My girlfriend works there so I pulled in a pretty good deal. Still waiting for my MSF course so I can turn in papers for a license. But in the meantime I will be riding the forums instead.

My only problem now is deciding what to drive to work, YZF or Subaru WRX;)

I also have a Dodge Stratus but it's the wifes car (and I don't like it anyway).

Back in the early 90's (When I was making money) I had an 87 911

How do you like the Boxter?

Porsche...if you need four wheels

The older style 911's are awesome...I don't care for the newer ones. They took all the lines out and made it an amorphous blob in the rear. I like the boxster styling, but it needs more ooomph. I'm going to trade it in for the "S" version. 911 power with a nicer rear end.... I am into that!!

I'll take my 911 in red please:drool: But for now the scooby is doing just fine. Highly recommended to anyone with that need for speed in a 4 wheel version and a smaller budget. Besides Rick, try loading that Porsche with groceries, then doing some damage on the street while driving home. I had the privelage of that experience a few weeks ago...but my girl was begging me to go chase down some ricers.

A friend of mine has a yellow '87 911 slant-nose.....whoooo baby!! Actually, as ludicrous as this conversation is getting, the boxster has quite a bit of "grocery" room. Its a mid-engine, so it has a trunk in the front and in the rear. I'd still rather carve it up on my Mille though!!! My girlfriend also rides, so she's happy doing either.
