Just wondering on what the benifits of running with a higher compression. I have two spare heads for my F3, and they have a differance of 5 thou between them, but I don't know if the one is stock, or has been milled already. So my question is what is the average depth in the mill, what does it help, and what changes will take place.(like do I have to run differant plugs? or what?
Please keep in mind this is my first complete rip down, rebuild. Plus i'm punthing it over 40 thou. (to a 618)
Thanks in advance.

That could be a stock head still... It depends on the tolerances of the head when it was manufactured. If the tolerance was +/- 0.003 on the face of the head then the one head could've been +0.002 and the other -0.003 giving you a difference of 0.005.
