My micron carbon fiber can had that goldish discoloratiion caused by heat around the mouth or exhaust tail.I used a little Mothers alum mag cleaner with000 fine steelwool and good as new..no discoloration!

I have a Micron Titanium System. Have you heard what I should use to clean the ti?
These Micron's kick some serious ass, don't they!!

Did you rub it down with "rubbing alcohol" after you installed it? If not, the finger prints are likely burned into the can. You may want to wash the can, dry it, then apply rubbing alcohol. This should dissolve the oils of the finger prints if they are not permanently burned into the can.

i have the stock pipe on my ZX-6R (non polished stainless steel)and i just use some cameo stainless steel cleaner on it.takes my wifes melted boot soles off with a little elbow grease. works on the triple tree too.
