Can't Ride

Well, here is another story for the "Crappy Weekend" file. Fortuneately I wasn't on my bike.

Softball tourney starts Friday and our team is undefeated going into Sat. afternoon(which is pretty amazin in itself). Saturday night we're playing in the Championship game, and I'm pitching. Halfway through the game I take a hard line-drive in the side of the right knee. I had to get carried off the field, then fight with the medics trying to stuff me in the ambulance. I lubricated the knee quite generously with adult beverages and got a ride home.

The next morning I went out to get on my bike(my car was still at the field). My knee won't bend and is all sorts of pretty dark colors. Damn it! So much for the Sunday cruise.

Was there something in the air this last weekend or what? This sucks!

OUCH!

Knee getting any better. And I thought it was a bummer when it starts raining.

Well, did you win?

Sorry, was out of town the last couple of days. We lost the game, and took second in the torney(which means our trophy is only three feet tall instead of four :D). The knee is starting to come around. Its turning ugly shades of yellow now instead of black
