Anybody out there have any experience w/ camcorders on bikes?
I want to start recording my rides and was wondering if anybody can recommend which camcorder and helmet mounted lens or bike mounted lens is best; please include ball part figure of cost.

Thanks.

I use helmetcamera.com

The remote lens is awesome. I store my camera in the trunk and mount the remote lens beneath the front-upper fairing using the industrial strength velcro (3M's Hook-Loop).

No cameras on your tank - no shaking. Perfect video every time.

And you can use Pinnacle Studio ($170) software to edit or make Window's Media Files.

I made a video of a lap around Thunderhill - see for yourself how the camera works. And this is a Window's Media File. With the sound and so on, it is awesome on the big screen.

The nice thing about video is that you can analyze your riding after the fact. It is a great training aid.

nice video

Hey Joe -

That's a really good video. I especially liked the graphic indicating which part of the track you were on.
