After a whirlwind 4 weeks I seem to have been spat out the other side working in Melbourne.

So... calling Gixxer Dave... which club should I join to get a racing licence here? Tried Broadford, they only do recreational. Which are the other main clubs for Winton/Broadford/PI ?

Perhaps this would be better discussed over a beer, if you're close (in the UK not the Aussie sense) to the city.

Let me know what you reckon.

Cheers Jonny NL.

Sounds good mate

Hey there Jonny, what's going on here then?? I'm as confused as the rest of the lads. So your living in the world's most livable city now then???

You need to join Preston, Hartwell or one of a bunch of other clubs and then get your race licence and you'll be good to go.... I actually make more sense after a few beers so would be keen to get together sometime, shoot me over some details.

Will be at P.I on October 10th if your interested in booking an open track day with the Superbike School??? Would be good to have a few laps together if you haven't ridden there yet?

This might also come in handy!!!

Yup, we're down under permanently (as much as anything is in this game), and sadly won't make it up for the remaining rounds of MSS.

Instead I plan to get my butt well and truly kicked racing the CBR down here in Victoria.

Dave, we're moving into a flat in Docklands this weekend, my phone number's 0419529452. What's yours, I'll give you a bell once the dust has settled.

Good luck you lot for the rest of the season, don't let that Aussie with funny facial hair run away with it....:D

Good stuff Jonny, I'll be more than happy to come and cheer you on, it's the least I could do. A hot tip would be to run what they call superstreet over here instead of all out Supersport which is packed full of gun young up and comer desperardo's.

My number is 0419 231031, Docklands is no problem for me, as I work in St Kilda and live maybe 15mins down the bay :thumb:

Understand that you've got plenty on, so no hurry.

Docklands is pretty handy for watching the Wallabies win the World Cup too.....;)

Yeah Ok so our prep. has been a little slow leading up :p

Worst thing is I just booked a week in NZ just after the World Cup, might have to cancel if they give us a floggin, no way I could put up with 7 days of trash talk from those sheep huggers!!!

Yup he can be an elusive fecker at the best of times.

He's got your rubber, helmet and jacket, mobile 016 2040263, or e-mail at [email protected]

Does this mean you'll be back on a bike in the near future???

Good effort, what are you buying with the TL write-off money?

Currently wading through Aussie bureaucracy to try and bring the CBR over here for a spot of racing, not proving straightforward.

Keep on lurching,

Cheer JR.
