In all honesty any of the latest 600cc & up sportbikes are simply to powerful & hot for a newbie to handle safetly. With all the COSTLY plastic on them the bike is bound to throw most new riders on their ear & replacements of plastic & other parts are ghastly.
Better to aim for a 500cc in a twin with better low rpm torque (compared to the peaky engines of the 600 or higher) & with no plastics, the accidently accidents at almost nil speeds with be no shattering of plastic & limited damage costs.
Best to put one season on such a bike as mentioned rather then buy a hot trotting bike & spend part of the season, getting in the parts & repairing the bike, not to mention what injuries you might have picked up from the pavement & time in healing as broken bones, toren tendions, muscles & deep skin abrasions tend to take a while in healing.
