Doesnt really matter. 929 was a preffered stunter for a while, cause its so light, and f4i's are a favorite cause parts are cheap for them. If you really want to get into stunting I recomment a dirtbike. seriously.

thats helpful a**

any real help out there
You're right, that was a bit harsh. Not being a stunter myself, I couldn't give you personal advice. However, I have seen many people doing wheelies, stoppies, and many other stunts on just about every "new" ('03-'05) 600 sportbike. If it's dedicated, you'll probably end up changing sprockets, and I'd imagine a cage/sliders & 12 bar would be likely additions.

I would take Vash's advice though.

Good luck, and do yourself a favor: invest in some gear.

R6 is the way to go. My buddy has an '06 f4i and he has alot more trouble getting his to stand up. Its too heavy with not enough low end power.

Any 600 is going to stand up if you tach to about 7 and throw it all the way down though. As for stoppies... don't even try it until you get at least 1 or 2 seasons in!

whata? who is this guy? f4i wont do wheelier? what a bunch of crap. Tell you buddy to get more practice, he just sucks. and it may be hard to imagine, but a great many people find stoppied easier than wheelies. I did. besides, if you crash a stoppie, at least you wont be going as fast.

I'm telling you... I have riden alot of bikes. Busa, R6/1, F4/F4i, Katana and the r's are the way to go. The F4i just feels way to bulky and the balance point is non-existant when trying to ride out a wheely. Besides the F4i is a hell of alot slower at the strip!!

As for doing stoppies... I would agree they are alot easier to pull of but they are also alot easier to drop (at least in my experience)!

Have you considered that you are most used to the R6 and that is why its easier for you? I got a buddy that rides the crap out of wheelies on an sv650, talk about underpowered.

Any bike can be stunted, just a matter of being used to that bike. That being said f4i is the most popular stunt bike of the last few years, r6 is the least popular. In general the r6 has a high small balance point, twitchy throttle and is known to not hold up like the honda. I ride an r6 and do okay, its just what im used to, but im looking for an f4i if that says anything. the new 600cc honda and kawi are fast becoming favorites, but cost more.

Most people love f4i's. Many people like the Kawi 636. I personally enjoy the Kawi 636. R6's shatter when they go down. Plus you gotta do oil pick-ups in the Suzukis and Yamahas if you plan on hanging em' out for awhile.

Get the F4 if your serious about it at least if you decide to bail on stunting you'll be left with a great bike with cheap parts. And anyone who cant wheelie an F4i needs to go back to class the balance point is huge and it pretty much goes straight there. If you want to talk about underpowered theres a guy around here stunting a gs500 so anything will weelie, hell until I sold em I used to stunt my KX60's

R6's are junk for serious stunting. If you're lookin to pull a few wheelies and impress the girls anything will work. I've wheelied a 99 ninja 250, scraped the tail light... anything can be done on any bike. So your friend who can't wheelie the f4i just lacks skill. Its the smoothest bike I've ever been on when it comes to stunts. My second favorite would be the 636. I personally learned on my R6 then got into stunting and have been through a few bikes since. If you're just starting and have a dirt bike layin around, start there to get the basic mechanics and feel for it. Then if you so desire, learn the basics on your current bike. If you like it and feel like pushin yourself farther, then you can think about getting a dedicated stunt bike. Anything will do from old ass f3's and f4's to f4i's, 02+ gixxer, 636, 929, 954... there are plenty of options. Once you get good enough to do the tricks that warrant a dedicated stunter you'll have picked up enough knowledge to know what you need for your style of stunting... if not, stop in again and I'll be happy to make suggestions.
