Best way to mount a RADAR DETECTOR on a Sportbike?

Hello,

Whats the best and cleanest way to mount a RADAR DETECTOR on a sportbike? On the triple tree? The frame stabilizer bar? Fabricate an aluminum arm to the inside of the rear view mirrors(inside the speed screen)? Any advice is appreciated!

Radar detectors on bikes just don't look cool. Being as how your bike is a poser bike, I wouldn't do it.

Colin, play nice with the other children. You saw what happened to thefoot, didn't you?

Ray,
You can always get a small tank bag (I mean really small) such as the one I have from RKA. Put the radar receiver (politically correct) inside the bag. Since radar goes through fabric, it need not be visible as long as you can still hear it (speaker in the helmet?).
Otherwise, a real small mounting above the speedo, under the windscreen might look nice...

Poser,

hehe

At least the bike has enough cyclinders.

The Valentine One is the best, but I agree that there is no real clean way to mount on a bike.

Funny, being as how it has the torque of a twin, I always saw it as having one cylinder extra. ;)
