Back to racing....

Well,

After much thought over the past few weeks I have decided to get back into racing again and quit riding on the street (again).

I'm getting into way to much trouble on the street, in the past two years I have only had my license for 2 months, and I am not due to get it back until September of 2001.

While I ride much faster on the street than I should, I still miss the speed of the track. (If you have ever raced on a track you will understand).

I'll be starting in Jan 2001 (plenty of time to get the bike ready) and racing the Southwest CCS series in the Unlimited SuperSport class, and will try and make one or two AMA Forumla Extreme races next year as a privateer with my 98ZX9R.

(AZScott, you ready for some comp? What classes you racing next year?)

The guy who banned me from racing because of my eye will be gone next year. And while I don't think I'll be as fast as I was before I still think I can compete with my vision. I'm faster than just about everybody (but not all) of the people I currently ride with and would never get back on the track if I felt I was going to put other racers in danger. :)

P.S. Shut up Will ;)

Alright, Cyclops! Oops. Sorry! ;)

Glad to hear you're coming out to join us. I should be running the middleweight classes with the R6 most of the time, as well as Unlimited GP. Whenever I bring the R7 out, I'll do the Heavyweight Superbike class and Unlimited GP on that one. But I'm saving that bike for when the weather's nice, and I'm in the mood. :p

Let's get it on, Stevie Wonder! :D :D :D
