I don't quite understand here....Mine came stock with D207s. I wore out the rear and punctured the front and have replaced them both with new D207s. A while back, a lot of folks were bad-mouthing 207s, much preferring D204s. What gives?
I have had good experiences with 207s (over 12k miles), other than they tend to hydroplane easily. Dry traction and handling are excellent. Is this a case of the fly in the vinegar jar thinking its the greatest place ever because he's never been anywhere else?

Ya, Ashley and I were talking about you this mornining, she says your such a pest! We had a good laugh about you over orange slices in bed. Then I had to get up and go to work so Ill talk to her about it more later... :D

Keith, I bought the 207s because everything I heard about them was great except mileage. Thats odd that you heard bad stuff. I dunno but Im sticking with them!

If you would have cleaned out that early-morning ear wax, you would have heard her right. Pest, best, I can see your confusion. I don't doubt she was laughing...
:p :D :p

We do have an open relationship but I'm afraid you owe me $200.00 for this morning.

I have spend adequate time riding my new 207s to feel confident in reporting that they are the BEST tires I have ever ridden on!

I have used BT56/57 (whatever came stock on my 99RR) and Michelins prviously.

The 207s track very well and there is just something very stable and confidence inspiring about them. The unstable feeling, ~that has been driving me nuts~, in the fast sweepers that I have previously talked about is totally gone! Traction is Terrific too!I dont care if they wear out fast, they make riding much more enjoyable so they're worth it at $260.00 installed front and rear.

Well theres my experienced opinion for ya. :D

I put 207s on my '96 (you know, one of those "twitchy" ones) and I couldn't believe the difference between them and the Bridgestones. I too have much more confidence and that's worth some extra $$$ to me. I'd rather have 2500 miles out of these babies than the 3500 I got out of the stockers. Of course, I'd like to get more miles out of these but that's up there with the probability of getting Ashley Judd to reconsider... I'm babbling... :p

By open relationship, I meant that Ashley and I don't keep strict tabs on each other. The $200.00 Riverrunner owes me, well, there's still a price to pay for the honor of having my woman. Normally the price is much higher of course, but since I heard things ended a little "prematurely" I couldn't in good conscience charge full price. :D

I'm probably going to be sued for defamation anytime now. Remember when this topic was about 207s...

Not in the same way you were "lovin" Ashley, right? And you're talking about tires again, right? :p

Seriously, I agree about the 207s. Probably going to get me in trouble 'cause they feel so much better. Haven't touched a peg on this thing yet. Shalom! Ground 'em down on my ole Seca II (me da man)...

The secret to the quote [ quote ]text[ /quote ] be sure to put everything including the end and begining of the quote together. I had to seperate them so they wouldn't actulally make a quote. If this doesn't make any sense read the "UBB Code is ON" link to the left.

207's are great! Friggin great! :D
