Has anyone ordered anything from the AGV online store. If so, were you satisfied. Did it arrive in a reasonable time? Did it fit correctly? etc...etc...etc

YES, YES, YES

Great place to do business, they are VERY personable and as friendly as your best friends.

The online store is very prompt - you'll get your order within a week. HOWEVER, if they screw up your order (i.e. send you the wrong size) it takes weeks to correct. It took me almost 8 weeks to get the correct pair of gloves that I ordered! (basically, they wouldn't ship the new gloves until they received the old gloves, then they took their sweet time getting out the replacements after the old gloves were returned). Hopefully I'm an isolated case, but it was enough to convince me not to do much more business with them. Unfortunate, because I really like my AGV helmet!

Sorry to hear that woohoo,
i ordered my helmet (with the free glove deal) and it all arrived very promptly and the order was right. I also emailed them explaining that i was gonna custom paint my helmet and they sent me an envelope full of many AGV decals, all sizes and styles, a few catalogs and a poster!!!. It was very cool and i was happy with everything.

I ordered the R7 2pc. suit last Thursday. It should be here by Wednesday. I'll let you know how it works out. I tried to order size 11 boots too, but they are out of all colors except blue, white and black. I'm guessing that these are closeouts, because no offer to backorder was made.

Actually, I just got my suit today. It arrived much sooner than I expected. It was marked WAY down ($500) due to some blemishes on the back of the jacket. It does have blemishes, but the are very slight. There are a couple of yellowish spots on the white portion. I imagine after its worn a few times, they will not be noticeable at all. Overall, I am very satisfied with it.

As this is my first leather riding gear, I do have a question. Will the leather stretch as it is worn? The reason I'm asking is that the jacket is a little snug and a little more room would be welcome :D.

Your jacket will will not be as stiff feeling when it is broken in and will loosen up a little. Most leather suits are made to fit best when you are on the bike hence they feel funny when you are not in a riding position. Hope this helps!

Mind readers,

I was just about to post a topic on AGV leathers. After reading your posts I see that I will have no problems with ordering from them.
Now, How do you like the AGV leathers? Are they comfortable, do you feel like the purchase was worth it? I would like to get either the Rage or Torino 2pc. suit.

I just got mine 2 dyas ago and I have been slowly breaking them in. My fiance looks at me like I'm crazy for wearing them around the house :D. I took them for a short road test (40 miles) last night and they felt pretty comfortable. The jacket is still a bit stiff, but I think that will change with wear.

The best part of getting these was the price. If you check out the AGV site and look under hot deals, you'll find the suit I got. Originally $899, marked down to $399 due to a VERY slight blemish on the back.
