anyone among you guys use a hands-free 2 way radio with a headset to communicate with your riding buddies?

I have a motorola talkabout t289 2 way radio (the latest motorola talkabout) with voice activated (VOX) function, but since it's new, motorola still doesn't make a VOX headset for it, only push to talk (PTT) ones. I've been to radio shack, 6th ave. , circuit city, etc. and they don't have a headset that fits it. So unless I velcro the damn radio inside my helmet, in between my eyes...I can't use it.

If you know any potential headsets I can use for it pls inform me. Thanks in advance!

You might be able to adapt a cellular phone headset to your radio. The HJC headsets have a unique multi-pin plug that could be adapted by an electronics specialist.
I prefer the PTT, myself.
