If that is real, & the rider on a HD/Cruiser, just as the deer made the leap into the bush is when the rider's head went to the left.]
In truth deer can leap like that & this one would have leaped even higher for drive from its hind legs were on pavement so lact of traction to a deer.
The other year I had a deer aiming at getting across the road only it was sort of going down the paved road in front of me in a sort of boing, boing, boing, boing manner as it was going down the road & its hind legs sort of whipped to the right,but front legs were aimed correctly, so YES it did make it across.
Yes deer can leap that high, for when I lived in Banff National Park in Alberta, B.C. Cdn we wanted to put up a wire fence of 10 feet in height, but only allowed to have 6' which was a piece of cake for a deer or a number of them.
