|smileyman||To make things more confusing for you guys...In 2002 US ZX6R's were 599cc, but in Europe they had a 636 cc ZX6R with the same bodystyle as the 00-02. In 2003 the US and Europe models were the 636 cc with the updated chassis and body they ran until the change in '05. Both 2003/04 and 2005/06' versions cae with a 599cc RR little brother model!|

02's are 600's
but in 02 the were making a 636 to be released in 03.... so if you look at the manuf date on the vin tag it will show a 02 date on an 03 - 636.

lol, if all else fails check the manufacturers site. They are the least likely to lie.

'02 had zx-6, and a zx6-r, both listed at 599cc. zx6r uses 4 mikuni bdsr36R carbs, while the zx6 uses 4 keihin CVKD 36 carbs.
Bikez.com is not the most reliable info site, so I'm not suprised, but the review you posted is for an '03, what gives?

Note to OP, Google is your friend!
EDIT: I should add that I believed the 636 wasn't out until '03 as well so I learned something new today

The 636 didnt debut till '03. I think the '02s are carbed, but dont know for sure

Is the 2002 ZX6-R a 636 or 600 and is it carbed or fuel injected? I keep finding conflicting info.
