JBaz fyi, I just got an 04 honda cbr600rr this weekend. And its def NOT a starter bike. Its very fast and powerful. Makes my f2 seem like a sports touring bike.

But, I think the $375 fee (or what ever) went for new tires. I Bought a 2003 F4i (13999 miles) last year for $7800 out the door. Yea, maybe i got ripped too. Is there a way you can secure a loan and buy from a person? It will be cheaper that way.

JBaz shit, thats the cost of gettin an 04 cbr1000rr otd at my dealership. That is way too much for that old 04 rr bike. Best thing to do is find a person selling their 600rr and buy it for around kbb value. I've seen 2003-2005 600rr's go between 5500-7000 in crisp condition. Just get a loan through your bank.

If your young and this will be your first bike, might I suggest getting a starter bike before getting a brand spanking new bike. I'd say look for an older cbr for 3 grand or so. You'll learn a lot and if you drop it, dont matter. Now if you dropped a new 600rr, thats value off the bike.

Unas_the_Slayer If you get a 600RR let me know how you like it, I plan on getting one myself near the end of the year.

Just wanted to see if you guys think this is ok before I sign the deal.

Base - 7996.77

Dealer Service - 375.25

Subtotal - 8372.02

Sales Tax - 564.53
LIcense Tag - 110.00
Waste Tire- 2.00
Waste Battery-1.50

Dealer Fee- 199.95

Total Price - 9,250.00

Financed I'm looking at 250.00 a month at 15.9 Fixed APR.

KBB has it at 6500. And that's with all additional dealer fees applied, so really it should be less.

How can I get the dealer to drop the price? It seems more expensive than it should be to me.

Are all these additional fees standard? How's the Interest Rate for someone who is 20 years old?

Thanks again for your help.
Take your own Vaseline because the Dealer is f**king you and i didnt see the but lube included in DEALER FEES.

You should be able to buy an 04 model for 5000-6000 with low miles.

bhartwig32 Thinks your young and stupid. Make them take your offer or walk.

Don't use the dealer's financing!! Get your bank to back you and you should be able to get down to 5-7 percent. Check on insurance!!! It adds to the pile.

ripper #2 dude that interest is huge maybe its just where u live but here in vancouver bc my interest is 5.5% for my car loan and im 18 years old

Angrypenguin I wouldnt pay more then $6500 OTD. You are in a good position here, its off season and the model is losing value by the day as it sits on their floor.

psudy Yea if you have decent credit, that rate is waaaay high. We are financing bikes at around 7% right now. Unfortunalty not in FL though.

apuddy I would also check out better financing. I think that is crazy high. If you are able to get financing through Honda, you will be able to get it through your own bank. Look around for better rates. Even if you save 2%. You will be saving money and your payments will be lower.
