Vash Yep a VERY green 500. Seems to be handling it pretty well to, Dropped it twice, no crashes yet. Smooth in corners.
The only reason she got it over the 650 is that its easier to finance a new bike...

slaps76 So did she end up with the EX500? I've never ridden one, only the 250. Love to "go back" and ride it now after being on much heavier bikes after a while. Get those pegs sparkin'!

Starter bikes, mainly ex500

A friend of mine recently got her first bike. I tested several for her, and it was a fun checking them out.

Here is the big suprise. The ex500 actually feels faster 2 up then an SV650 does by itself. I was expecting the bike to be pretty calm, and at low revs it is. But as the revs climb up, there are a few suprises there. Sure, its got no low end, but thats the world of sportbikes after all.

Anyways it was a really fun bike. The only thing that threw me off is the totally upright riding position...
