His_Suzuki Pete, how'd you guess--Hot Pink's my fav., but now there's this funny brown streak down the middle-can't figure that one out

Yea, Rug Burn doesn't like the mountains too much. He kept saying something about guardrails, or the lack of

His_Suzuki Rug's seat look's pretty good. But, Pete, he doesn't know what 10,000 rpm's is, so do not let him fool you either.

Did you get plain black, or the more appropriate two-tone hot pink/lavender skins?

Rug Burn I got my 2nd Look seat skins last week. I called around to different shops to see how much they wanted to install them. The price ranged from $20-$40--ouch. So I got some heavy duty staples from Staples ($5-for lifetime supply) and commenced to cursing and stapled that bad boy on myself. It wasn't easy by any means and took almost 2 hours--but it looks great and feels much better than the stock one--not slipping around anymore.

His_Suzuki Rug Burn,
Buy the same material that is put on the 2000 Katana seats. It has a very good grip and looks aftermarket. I always get comments about the seat. Looks like the same material used by Corbin.

CBR_Brutha I haven't been on a 929rr in awhile, and don't remember how the saet feels, but my Second LookŪ seat skin gripped just fine. It didn't grip as well as my OEM seat, which I was happy about, because the F4 seats IMO are too grippy: couldn't move my ass very easily in the twisties. Anyway, I'm sure if you get one that it will grip just fine. Let us know what you decide dude. Later on...

Lost to the Blacktop God. 4,699 miles in under 3 mos. $8,300 worth of damage to my one and only baby. On the brighter side: Can you say 929rr???

Hawkman Here's an idea. I've never tried this myself so you will have to be the ginuea pig. My brother was a bull rider and they put Ralston (not sure of the spelling) on their hands before they ride. It's just this sticky stuff that they put on their hands and legs and helps give them grip. I think pro baseball players use it on their gloves. I'm not sure where to get it, but it can't be too expensive and it doesn't stain or have any color. I think it's just a powder. If you're interested I'll ask him where you get it from. I would guess a major sporting goods store like Academy would have it. Otherwise you may have to see if Corbin or some other aftermarket seat maker has a textured seat to fit your bike.
