Either the 500cc vertical twins by Suzy or Kwacker will do the job with ease. Probably the best when it comes to a beginners bike unless you want to go down to a smaller bike in power.
The 500s will not be at peak revs & so they fuel milage will be as good as the 250cc if not even better as latter has to be going full chat at that speed.

power of a 250?
Hey all...still saving up a little more money before i can afford a bike...but it still doesn't hurt to look right>
my question is, will a 500 cc (or even250) bike (ninja is what i was just looking at, but it guess any other brands work too) work decent on the highway, i dont need to go 180 or anything, but will i feel underpowered on the highway with a smaller engine? im told 600 will be just fine, so didn't know if 500 would work fine, maybe it would save me some money. and i would like to take gas mileage into account also, would a 250 or 500 get poor gas milage on highway if they are working so hard to go 80 mph?
