|Si-lo||As long as you have respect for the bike it will have respect for you. Wish it worked that way with cages.|

I think you'll be just fine. Take your time to learn this bike.
The straight-aways are nothing its the turns ya gotta worry about.
You got the right bike for the twisties, and track.

I joined this forum recently and would like to introduce myself:
31 y.o, white, male, from NJ.
I had 2 bikes before one was '79 honda 450 and '80 Yamaha 650
Both of them were in kinda bad shape but i was able to ride on them for 2 seasons.
But I got tired of bikes that I ride one day and than i gotta fix it for a next day,so I went to the dealer and got me new 05 gixxer 750,but the truth is I NEVER rode a sport bike and reading from this forum it seems like a total different expirience,my questiong is lets say if I start riding the gixxer smoothly without urge to reach a "speed of light" and not doing stunz, should I do ok with that size of bike?
I am 6"2 and 225 lbs and never droped any of my other bikes.
I would appreciate any input here.
