kuntrykidd Just used the X1 and loved it the whole ride. I was worried that i would notice it on my helmet but I didnt notice it at all. The worse part about it was the wind noise at 90+ mph. It was totally useful to warn and be warned about drivers, riders, and directions. It was nice to know what was going on at the front of the pace. My music calmed me and put me in a riding mode. It was sweet!!!

I do ride with a MP3 player piped into the Chatterbox The yacking doesn't bother me and I love to listen to music. If it gets annoying I turn it off. It's no more distracting than doing anything else with music in the back ground to me.

My MP3 player earphones don't fit as well in my Suomy helmet as they did in my older one. The headphones from my Comm fit better and are easier to get in and out....I can see why you'd use a comm for the music.....
