I have the Blue one.

I had it up to 170 last Sunday.

The bike had more in it and felt very solid.

However, my jacket started flapping like a bi*ch at 160 and just had me feeling uncomfortable to push it much more.

It did it in both directions so it has something to do with the areodynamics of the bike.

I think I will get new gear as I cannot since the middle of the jacket to prevent the flapping.

crispin I have had mine for over 2 weeks now.

I cannot say enough about the bike.

I love everything about it.

It is the first thing I have ever owned that scares me a bit.

I have owned alot of fast everything so that statement does have alot of merit.

Everyone will enjoy their bike greatly once they get it.

cdma2000 dbo, both Rob Muzzy and Kerry Bryant (VP product develpment for Jardine) have advised us to follow manuf. break-in procedure. Mototune's procedure can make sense for a racebike that you can teardown and rebuild.

I'm not religious about following the manufacturer's break-in limit, but for a $11,000 + tax motorcycle with an electronic brain that can remember abuse, I'm following break-in pretty closely, in case I ever need warranty service.

Plus, just as Mototune alludes, it gives me a chance to get used to the bike.

You can break your ZX-10R in differently.

dbo ^^hey.

cdma2000 Yes. But you're supposed to keep it under 4000 RPM for the first 500 miles, then 6000 RPM for 500 more...

The bike is tight, and turns and stops well. Give the brakes 250 miles to bed in before you do anything to them; I had to adjust the rear pedal to 'happen' sooner at 450 miles.

I am very much in love with my bike.

Hopefully mine will be in either today or tomorrow...How was your first ride? Is it as nuts as I think it'll be?
