SilentNEKO moving from a ninja 250 to a 500 is a waste of time, there is only a very little power difference and the 500 doesn't flick as well as a 250. if the looks are the only thing that bothers you then keep it and master it, if your bored with it then move up to a 600, but keep in mind that it won't handle as well or be as forgiving.

Back in the late 60's when I first started to ride, the 250cc bike was the "cat's meow." . . . a very proper bike on which to learn. Why do you seem to hate your Ninja 250 so much? Depending on your answer, perhaps you are ready to graduate to a more powerful/responsive/less forgiving bike. As far as "looks," yes I prefer the Ninja 500 to the 250. But I aslo prefer the 636 to the 500. But first things first (for safety's sake) . . .
Back in the day (60's-arly 70's) the choices ranged (in cc) from 70 to 90, to 125, to 150, to 250, to 350, to 550, 750, 1000 etc.

Ninja 250 VS. Ninja 500

Whats the difference between the 2? I have a Ninja 250 and I hate it! How much better is the 500? Does it look better, When I look at my 250 from the front it looks so small, is the 500 like this?
I heard the 0-60 for the 500 is 4 sec, is this true?
