Tristan I'll be bringing a Derbi 75 along with the SV. It tops out around 70 mph, so please don't run me over on the straights!

cbr600f4gd Hey Dad - I met you at the NESBA Beaver run day. I have the red black F4 and was checking out your riding buddies R1 suspension. Funny to put a face to the name.

The Harleys and Gold Wings!

Actually, I don't know for sure. It'll only be my third track day and I'm not sure if I'll be relaxed enough with corner passing. They wanted to move me up on my second day when I registered but they decided not to worry about it because, due to the relatively small number of bikes, they were going to open track after two sessions anyway. I was riding some decent times, especially for my bike, but I still don't feel that I am experienced enough with traffic. It's probably not a problem but I would still like a little more time. I'll at least have a big old "X" on the back of my helmet.

Tristan If there was a Mrs. T, she sure as hell would not be privy to the existance of SBW!

Any idea if I should take 70E or 71N to 76E?
Probably 71N to 76E, but a quick look at a map (not handy to me now) should verify that. Looking forward to seeing you! It'll be fun! I expect to be there running my trusty old CBR 1000. It's at 64,000 miles now, still all original fork seals, shocks, etc. Runs good for the tank that it is.

Off of 76, take exit two, then 18N through one traffic light, approx. 3 miles total, then left up a small access road. The sign there is easy to miss but is directly across from a fairly large manufacturing plant on your right called Dynamic Sheet Metal Manufacturing.

cbr600f4gd They just installed some new curbing prior to last weekend. With that and a lot more rubber down I was able to take 2 seconds a lap from the last time we were there. The track is really sweet. Only problem is the management has thier heads up thier asses. The track is superfast and very smooth. They did, however, already put in some patch on the uphill section of the track. Makes me wonder what the place will be like after a hard winter. I mean, if it is already falling apart when it is only a month or two old the what will happen when it expands and contracts all winter long. We'll see.
