chromy Thanks for the warm welcome

We are trying to take the msf course with a couple of friends, but all the ones in our area were already filled for the summer. We are going to take it as soon as we can get in

New Rider

Hi Everyone!
I am new to motorcycles, but eventually plan to purchase a sportbike. (not until I am better at riding our current bike) Currently my husband and I have a '76 Honda cb550. We bought to learn on (we won't worry about any damage if/when we down it) and see if we really want a motorcycle or not. We definitely love riding.

We also have an 80cc scooter (which we received are certs on, scary huh?!). Just when I was starting to feel comfortable on the corners with out slowing way down, I downed it. My husband rides our bike to a large office complex so I can practice riding. I am going 35 mph (my husband can go 50 on the straight away in the lot before having to slow down again) now on it, and only slowing way down for the blind corners.

I am looking forward to learning from all your expertise.
