The focus of your project should be Squids, not Hooligans. Hooligans ride Bad Ass customized Street Fighters, and are usually completely geared up. They break all kinds of traffic laws, and may be contemptuous of mainstream riders and mainstream society in general. |

Don't get me wrong, I don't care what people think about what brand names I wear. I guess I just didn't know there was that much of a difference in Helmets. Thanks to Luckystrike and JJK for the information on Helmets. After reading your posts, I went and did a little research and absolutely confirmed what you both said. My HJC fits fine, but it is about 6 years old and I am due for a new one, so I am glad this post came up, so I will know what to shop for, and what not to shop for. Hooligans on TV The last episode of "Superbikes" on the Speed Channel was almost entirely devoted to the hooligan element. They showed an Oakland motorcycle club, the East Bay Rats, (eastbayrats.com) that totally embodied the definition of hooligan. They also did a feature on a custom bike builder (Sean Lyons of Streefighters USA) that specialized in building nothing but tricked out hooligan bikes. If you could get a copy of that episode, I think it would help a lot with your project. |
