I can't get the video to work  anyways i went back to work after being laid off and found out that one of the guys I work with was one of the guys interviewed. He was talking about going 140. I told him that a lot of peeps are pissed about how they gave the sportbike a black eye and he didn't think he did anything wrong. He did say that they only used footage of riders saying bad things and didn't use any of the mature riders comments. Go figure

Anyone notice that the two bikes pulled over were (relatively) slow bikes? A BMW GS and a Speed Triple I think. Kevin |

Yep. Its not bad at all. Even the one guy said, "Im not a high speed rider" However, Im still for makin some bumper stickers...

That really, really was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. Not even worth getting upset over. They mentioned most of the footage was home video. They nailed two guys speeding. Mentioned the dangers of cars changing lanes when bikes are comming up too fast from the back.... Interesting mention of the Detroit cop speeding during his accident with the semi. One fellow mentioned doing the posted speed limit. I think the chick passenger stating "You sound like my mom..." was the worst on comments....lol... |

Wow... Looks like I missed a lot. Sonny...impressive coverage your club recieved. I think we may follow in our footsteps. Everyone...I will work on a template letter in the next day or so. Anyone have a contact at Fox 2? Perhaps we should just flood the Problem Solvers at Fox 2 email address? Any ideas? Fuggin momo's that were interviewed.... Shit...I'm going to work on the letter now. LOL |

You know, after watching that video it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Yeah, there were some dumb ass comments made, but at least they said something about Motorcycle Safety, and getting training. But I'm still with the bunch that want to send e-mails, to try to get a better outlook on the groups. I will say this, if someone from our group would have answered the question how fast you have gone. I would hope and pray you would end your answer with "on a track" I'm sure the news would cut that out, but at least you would have said it. Know what I mean? |

| Jay22 | Hey, cool! I guess Ill start a new thread for the bumper stickers and see if we can get some interest. Hopefully the admins will support the idea. Ill check around and see how much it would cost to run some off if everyones serious about it. |
