Yamaha R1

Hey guys what should my 99 R1 do in the 1/4 mile? Just has k&n filters and a full two brothers exhaust. 9000 miles on it. I want to try and drag race it. Just want to try and find some et's. Thanks guys!

I'd guess 10.25.Where you live will have alot to do with your et.

I live in Buffalo, new york. My buddy has a 2006 gsxr1000 stock. I know they rip but is it really that much faster than my bike??

It has about 30 more rwhp so it's definitly faster but not enough that you could really tell just from riding one then getting on the other.

Say what? There's approx 30bhp between my bikes and I can definitely tell a difference.

I was thinking the same thing.But there may be some places in India where it wouldn't be completely ridiculous.One would think that Yamaha would have scoped that out.I'd throw the r1 shock in the mean time while you get the fox rebuilt.When you get your fox back you can compare the feel and evaluate if rebuild was worth it.

Yamaha R1 is a bike, which looks like complete sports bike of Yamaha, which run on the race tracks. It is small in size rather than other sport bike of Yamaha. Recently they launched the version 2 of r15 as well.
