Dreamryder hit 7.99 Aug 24th 2008!

WOOO HOOOO.... finally made it in the 7's yesterday...

it was a long time coming this season.. hopefully we have the wheeli gremlin chased away and can back this pass up with many more

We didn't get any video unfortunately... but here are my time slips Sunday showing my progress - there were a few wheelies yet that I did an 8.4 run and one i backed out completley cuz I came down crossed some and didnt' wanna chance it getting out of control...

so we have some more fine tuning to do and alot more boost to add yet

thanks fellas... I beat that time this past sat with a 7.83 and a 7.80 (which I short shifted terribly bad and ruined my short time... if that hadn't been done that 7.8 would have been a 7.6)

Going back to the track this weekend.. hope to see some mid 7's

How much are those times affected by air temp/humidity? I know there is a pref for car draggers to head over in the early Spring and late Fall for more dense air.

ALOT of difference.... my bike will make ALOT MORE HP and be a lot less strain on the turbo in cooler temps... I can't wait to see temps in the 60's... but our temps here are still in the freakin 90's ?? and high 80's it's rediculous...

Your map is created to keep your air to fuel ratio at a certain level and as the air conditions change that means your map needs to change as well to compensate for it.. you're ok runnin a lil rich but you never wanna run lean... sure fire way to ruin a motor.

Wow E - I blink my eyes and you're running 7s on a Busa WTF! That's awesome, we've gotta catch up sometime. You go woman!! What's even weirder is that the last time you posted was the last time I posted and subsequently logged on. I did a search on you after I read this to see if I could fill the gap from the Honda to now.

Thanks... it was a long recovery.. hard to go 2mths without riding when you watch all your freinds doin it...

I ended the season in Oct with a new career best of 7.77.... hopin to see a couple tenths faster than that in the first month of being back at it in 2009.. got some more changing to do to the chasis to help keep teh front down as anytime we add more boost early on up she comes.. kinda hard to go faster if I can't add more HP...

there's tons of videos on my website if you wanna check them out: www.dreamryder.org

feel free to check it out... I have alot of updating to do to it yet and hopeing next couple of weeks I can get it done...

I have a busy busy 09 planned : Byron's 2WheelSpeed Series, Grove's TrueStreet Series, US131's Battle of teh Bike and Bike Mania, Canada's Fastest Streetbike Shootout, Milan Friday Night Headsup, and the AMA Prostreet Series...
