How fast?

How fast can you be at an IHRA track before you need full leathers?

I've seen guys riding with blue jeans (I know stupid) but it's only an 1/8th mile track and I just want to shake it down.

Anybody know the guidelines for an 1/8? How about a 1/4?

p. 99 and 101 Rider Requirements No 2: SFI 40.1/1 or 40.1/2 suit, jacket or leathers mandatory for all riders. All riders who run 10.99 , 6.99 1/8 or 120 mph or faster must wear a 40.1/2 suit or leathers.

Same as above, only added in the elapsed times cutoff. Straight from IHRA rule book.
