Just being curious but why do you need something that goes quick?

I have a cr500 and I love how fast it takes off, and to get anything that is less quick will just dissapoint me.

I have been a mxer for years, and love just to ride, but at times i will wanna get up to 70 miles per hour fast, I dont want unreal speed, just something quick and fun, but safe tooo that is why I am looking at the 500, but I dont want a dog, if you know what I mean.

Well at least you got experience, you've come to the right place to find that out, but unfortunilty I can't help you because I'm just starting to learn more about the sport bike world.

Just on the off chance that you might have better luck, I am moving this to the Drag Racing area.

not sure what bike that is.
but you can always change the gearing if all you care about is its quickness.
1-2 down in the front and a few up in the back will make any bike quick.

GS 500

There isn't a test out on the new GS 500F yet, but the older GS 500E model, which has exactly the same engine, ran mid to high 13's in the quarter. The 500F should be much the same.
