Draggin Wed. night

i am going to the strip wed night to get a couple times on my bike...is there anything i should do to my bike before...ex..suspension or tire pressure?
i figure soft rear suspension and lower the air pressure

not really. i ran mine a few weeks ago. for a good launch leave at like 7k rpms, slip the clutch till you fill the tire hook then just hammer it.make sure you put all your weight up front. mine started to lift top of first. top of second and when i shifted into third.

oh by the way anything over 120mph you need full leathers.
if you plan on racing alot youll need a teather.

jammin johnny knows more about setting up the suspension
but you want the proper firmeness, dampness and rebound.

i dont know all that stuff, though, so for me who makes it to the track about once every couple months, i set the rear spring firmer, which seems to make it wheelie less then it being softer.

on my 600 i hold the revs to about 8-9k and release the clutch about as fast as i can without poping it, and once i feel that its past its point of wheeling i give it full throttle.
