Fast and Light Motors

Hi All,

This is my first post and I am completely clueless about streetbikes, so thats why I am here....I want to put a streetbike motor in a dirt bike frame for an event that is basically a barrel race on the beach, it's on hard sand on low tide. The corners are 750m apart.

What I want your advice on is what engine do you guys think would be best to use for this application? I am thinking of something like an R6 but any advice is appreciated as I know nothing about streetbikes....

Note: I tried to post some links for reference but i'm allowed as its my first post....

You can post multiple links when you have more posts. Currently you are new so you can't post outside links here. Try to raise your post count and then leave a link to another source.
