???cleaning Rims???

I got stuck driving in rain a while back and it took me two hours just to clean grease off of my rims/to get them looking green again.
I used wax and eventually got it off, but it was a pain!
Anyone know of any tricks?

any citrus based cleanser will do the job.. or use WD40 or carb cleaner..

You have to be careful with any type of brake cleaner, cause if you scrub hard enough you WILL strip the paint.

Try,

HONDABRITE, its a total cycle cleaner/degreaser..Its good for dirt, oil road grime, insects...I just started using this to clean my bike & it works good as chyyt...Give it a shot, i'll think you'll like it... After i wash my bike, w/ it,, then i use meguiars glaze, to shine it up,, prob wouldnt wanna use the meguiars on your wheels tho..But the H-B, will work nicely...

Thumbs up cleaning rims

I usually use the same stuff i use on my stang's rims. Meguiars rim cleaner or A to Z in the orange bottle, easy to use, just spray it on and spray it off. Also does a great job on the tires too. Keeps the tires black and clean looking.
