Buying a salvage bike?

I was interested in buying a salvage bike but i hear its not the best thing to do. I was wondering about your input. I found a place that sells bikes that were only cosmetically damaged. Small scratches and things like that. I saw some 04's Suzuki gsxr 600 for around 5500 with only 1200 miles. i was also wondering if I can buy the plastics already painted to match the bike from a dealer. That way when I eventually save enough to replace it I can. Also, I was wondering about how much a right fairing would go for. thanks

Yup, you can buy oem plastics already painted... check for the best prices on new stuff..

Check with your state laws re: registering a salvage titled bike, some states won't allow it..the only down side to buying a salvaged title, is when ya go to sell it, you wind up taking much less than if it had a clean title..

Old, Slow, but ...Smooth
