I'm a bit each way.
The kevlar jeans don't necessarilly have armour, but you can then just walk around in them when you get where you're going. I've heard they're hot too, as kevlar doesn't breathe.
The textile pants generally have the armour, but aren't really practical to wear after your ride. You can wear other pants underneath them though.
If you're just going out for a ride, with no intention of spending time at a mate's place while you're out, I'd go for the textiles.
I've got a pair of Dri-rider textile winter pants, but I've only been wearing ordinary jeans during the warmer months. I know I've been running the gauntlet there, so I'll be buying some summer pants as soon as I get a couple of bills out of the way. It's winter here at the moment, so I won't be needing to spend the money on them just yet.
