SV650s on the track

I was just wondering how the SV650s is on the track? I am looking to getting one and want to get into track days pretty regularly. I am still fairly new to riding so I am sure that it will more than sufice. Just curious though. Thanks

On the track, well it will be more expensive then most of the 600 fours. After all you cannot adjust the suspension front or rear on the SV-650, while the fours are fully adjustable in both Rebound, Preload, & Compession. True often on most bikes the stock rear shock has be upgraded & it will be the same with the SV-650.

You will probably want to go for better rear-sets. Just depends upon how far you can afford to go. Now if it was Track Days only then you would not have to aim at such expenses.

My understanding is that the 650 is one of the most common track bikes around. The accept gixxer suspension componenets, which can be had for cheap on ebay, and on a tight track their relative lack of power isnt noticable.
