Hello

Hey guys, new to the forum and to riding. I 've ridden ATV almost my whole life, but never a crotch-rocket. I came across a 1996 SECA II that is in immaculate condition (to the untrained eye). My cousin owns a dirtbike track and instructed me on how to check the chain and sprocket, both were in decent condition. The bike has never been layed over, the tire has about 75% tread, it has 8000 miles, and I see no significant scratches or body damage. The guy wants 2500, but the bike books at around 2250. Is it worth it considering the bike has been well kept? Thanks in advance.

Bet he'll take $2k if ya had it in cash. Haggle the price some more. If your are willing to pay it. Let your buddy hold the rest of the cash, act like your begging him to lend ya a lil extra. It usually work wonders.

Keep us updated.

Has anyone ever ridden a SECA II? How do they perform, are they dependable bikes? Until I saw it I'd never even heard of them.

+1

Cash is a great bargaining tool. Never pay full price.
