CBR600F4 as first bike??

Hi, i'm completely new to the world of sportbikes. Ive never ridden one, and I will be taking the MSF course before I buy. I'm looking to get a used Honda CBR600F3 as i've seen recommended for newbies, but i've noticed that for around a grand more I can get a used F4. I'd prefer to get a newer bike. I'm very mature and don't plan on doing stupid stuff like racing or popping wheelies anytime soon. Is a CBR600F4 too much bike for a newbie? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I would stick with the f3. Insurance will probably be cheaper, parts will probably be cheaper, and the cost of the bike in general is cheaper. Save the extra gran and get yourself some good gear, a shop manual, or even put the extra away for a future bike upgrade. Good luck with the MSF course.

for a grand more, i would get the f4. though i don't really think either bike is a great newbie bike. but if you really must, the f4 is worth it in terms of comfort and all that.

newbies have kept the price of f2's and f3's higher than they should be.

one note, the f3 does crash better than the f4. but the f4 does seem fairly strong.
